Adela V. Trujillo, age 88, passed away on April 19, 2017. She was born on December 2, 1928 to Fortunato and Leonora Vera in Kingsville, Tx. She was raised in Kingsville, Tx. She married her husband of 64 years on January 18, 1952. Adela V. Trujillo was a loving mother, sister, aunt, and cousin. Adela enjoyed participation in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Society. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, quiet nature, sense of adventure, service in the community, and devotion to her family.
Adela is preceded in death by her husband Celestino Trujillo. Adela is survived by her daughter Cynthia Ramos, son Charles Ray Trujillo, daughter-in-law Ada Perez, son-in-law Andy Ramos III, sister Leonora De Leon, four grandchildren, and one great-grandson. A Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday April 20, 2017 at the Reid Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday April 21, 2017 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment is to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
