Barbara Darlyne Kilsby Smith passed away on June 30, 2017. Darlyne was born at Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 21, 1946 to Elmer and Juanita Kilsby. She was a lifelong resident of Corpus Christi. She graduated from Mary Carroll High School and the Durham Business School. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that enjoyed the simple things in life. Darlyne’s love for God kept her very active in her church throughout her life. She served as a WMU Director, Baptist Young Women’s Director, Youth Secretary, Church Secretary, Sunday School Director and general office work in the church.
Her kind and loving spirit will be missed by all.
Darlyne is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Juanita Kilsby, one brother Elmer L. Kilsby. She is survived by her husband of 51 years Rayford Smith, one daughter Deborah Banks of Calallen, one son William (Karianne) Smith of Calgary Canada, two granddaughters Sarah (Brendon) Yeats, Emily Kemp, two grandsons Zachary Smith, Travis Smith, one great grandson Nathaniel Yeats and one great granddaughter Natalie Yeats.

A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.
