Just 5 days after coming into the world, Joaquin Royce Lopez passed away peacefully in his parents ‘arms at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born on July 18, 2017 and passed away on July 23, 2017. Though his stay was short, he touched many lives and was loved by all who met him.
Joaquin is survived by his loving parents, Krystal Newman and Abel Lopez; his sisters, Abryel Lopez and Aubrey Lopez; maternal grandparents, Mary Charles and Leo Curiel, and Paternal Grandparents, Augustin and Alicia Lopez, as well as numerous aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 5pm – 9pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 7pm at Seaside Reid Chapel. A funeral service will take place on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 11:30am at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Burial will follow to Seaside Memorial Park.
