Betty Jane (Vine) Bradley passed away on February 16, 2018 with her family at her side. She was born on March 3, 1923 to James and Eleanor Vine in Kinney, Minnesota. Her family moved to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in 1925.
Betty attended St. Peters Lutheran School and graduated from Winnebago Lutheran Academy in 1941. After high school, Betty worked for Infant Socks and S.S. Kresge.
Betty married Dr. Gustus (Brad) S. Bradley on November 29, 1958. They raised their family in Fond du Lac. She was involved with the Wisconsin Women’s Dental Auxiliary and served a term as their president. Betty and Brad bowled for many years in several couples leagues and enjoyed going to plays in the area.
In 1972, after Brad retired, they moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where Betty volunteered for several years at The Porch. She loved to read, watch old movies, listen to music, doing arts and crafts and traveling the world with Brad. Betty had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life.
Betty will be deeply missed by her family: Carol (Dennis) Haessly of Bloomington, MN., John (Jane) Schubert of Fond du Lac, WI., James (RoseMari) Bradley of Mansfield, TX., Robert (Debi) Bradley of Corpus Christi, TX., Marilyn (Ronnie)Gagnon of Memphis, TN., Larry Lambert of Dillsburg, PA., many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, Donna Roth of Cave Creek, AZ. and Gloria Jones of Fond du Lac, WI.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Bruce Schubert and Nancy Lambert.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aadi Home Health Care Service and Trinity Towers Holmgreen for their special care and warmth.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 or a charity of your choice.
