C.W. (Bill) Hardin, 94, of Houston, TX passed away on Thursday, April 20,  2017 after a short illness. Mr. Hardin was born January 4, 1923 to E.C. and  Pearl Hardin of Vera, Tx. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked civil service in Abilene, Tx and Corpus Christi, TX until his retirement in1983. Mr. Hardin married Frances Russell on February 9, 1942 in Seymour, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters, his wife and a daughter, Valrie Miles. He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Vead of Houston, son, Steve Hardin of Serian Bazaar, Sarawak, Malaysia, a sister, Joice Ball of Bedford, TX, a brother, Calvin Hardin of Mckinney, TX, six grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandsons, and numerous nieces and nephews. Seaside Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Corpus Christi is in charge of his service. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. followed by a service at 12:00 noon and burial at 1:00 p.m.
