Carole Charlene Grimm, 83, passed away February 7, 2018. She was born on July 21, 1934 to Charles and Mary Wier in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1952 and attended Del Mar Community College where she graduated in 1954. Carole married her husband, William Grimm, of nineteen years on August 19, 1956. She was employed and retired from CP&L later known as AEP. Carole was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family and provided great advice and prayers. She was a prayer warrior and woman of faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church and loved her church family. Carole was a gifted artist and enjoyed going to the beach, fishing and sailing. She also served on the board of Corpus Christi Neighborhood Centers.
Carole is preceded in death by her father, Charles F. Wier and mother, Mary M. Wier. Left to cherish her memories are her son, Joseph Grimm and wife Sharon, daughter, Kim Deasy and husband Chris, sister Sherry Wier, grandchildren, Timothy Perez and wife Sara, Joshua Perez, Courtney Deasy, Conor Deasy and wife Ashley, Kristi Coon and husband Royce, Caiti Deasy, Jen Carrasco, Stephen Deasy and fifteen great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Kindred Hospice and San Rafael Nursing for their tender care at the time of passing.
A Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. that same day. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are, Chris Deasy, Conor Deasy, Hector Villarreal, Royce Coon, Stephen Deasy, Josh Perez and Mitchell Bartram.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Corpus Christi Neighborhood Centers.
