I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. I didn't know them personally but we all have in some way had to deal with death. The Bible has given me such wonderful comfort during dark times. My favorite scripture is in 2 Cortinthans 1:3, 4 it states in part"...the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." Comfort is the key word and we can gain a great measure of it in his word the Bible . Revelation 21:4 also gives us a great reassurance of what God is going to do with Death in the very near future it says" And he (GOD) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and DEATH will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Death will be no more and we have this promise from God a world without Death seems impossible but it will soon be a reality .
