Frank R. Perez, Jr., age 77, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born on Oct. 22, 1940 in Corpus Christi, TX. to Francisco Perez Sr. and Catalina R. Perez. He married his wife of 57 yrs., Gloria Alvarado Perez on May 15, 1960. He attended Roy Miller High School. Frank worked as a Salesperson and retired from H & H Construction.
The couple welcomed four children into their home, his children remember him as a kind, loving, and a hard working father. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working tirelessly outdoors. He enjoyed sitting on the porch admiring his yard, visiting with friends and family.
Frank is preceded in death by his father Francisco Perez Sr. and mother Catalina R. Perez.
Frank is survived by his wife, Gloria A. Perez, children, Ophelia Perez, Roland (Sylvia) Perez and Catherine (Manuel) Lara. Sisters, Clem Gonzalez, Tina Ruiz and Tilde Perez. Grand children, Nancy Cuellar, Ann Marie Pedraza, John David Trevino, Roland Perez Jr., Jacki Rodriguez, Serena Lammert, Albert Ray Perez, Albert James Hernandez, Carmen Kathleen Lara, 26 great- grandchildren, 2 great- great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 – 9 pm Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017 at Seaside Reid Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7pm that same evening. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at Seaside Reid Chapel. Interment will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
