Isaac Gonzalez, 84, went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2017. He was born on January 8, 1933. He was the last surviving child of Mr. & Mrs. Macedonio Gonzalez.
Isaac Gonzalez was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and was married to Elizabeth R. Gonzalez in March 1960. They were married for 54 years. Isaac & Elizabeth were blessed with their only daughter, Sylvia R. Gonzalez, one year later in April 1961.
Isaac Gonzalez was a devoted Husband, a loving Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Uncle. He was the patriarch of his family.
Isaac Gonzalez worked at the Corpus Christi Country Club for over 40 years where he created lifelong friendships with employees and members alike. He was loved by all. Isaac Gonzalez and family were co-founders and members of Templo Sinai. He was also a graduate of Bible College. Isaac will always be known for his love of the Gospel, his love to spread the Word to the lost, and his unwavering faith. His patience was unparalleled. His legacies to his family are his Christian morals and values. Isaac was also known for his sense of humor, his funny stories, and crazy jokes. His smile and laughter were unforgettable. He liked watching Western movies. His favorite food was catfish, and he always had coffee with just about every meal. He could drink his coffee day and night. Isaac’s greatest joys were his two Granddaughters and his seven Greatgrandchildren.
Isaac is preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, his wife Elizabeth R. Gonzalez, and daughter Sylvia R. Gonzalez.
He is survived by his Grandchildren Veronica & Richardo Moore, and Elizabeth Guadarrama and Aaron Hubbard. Greatgrandchildren Corrina M. Hernandez, Ricardo I. Moore (Rico), Carmelo S. Moore (Melo), Annabelle B. Moore, Erinelly H. Hubbard, Ariel C. Hubbard, and Khaleesi S. Hubbard; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Isaac Gonzalez will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Sinai Evangelistic Center, 3001 Norton St. Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78412.
