Jacqueline B. Kennedy

Jacqueline Bearden Kennedy was born to Earl L. Bearden and Lola Holbrook Bearden in Jefferson City, Missouri on October 6, 1930. Jacqueline was born again when she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She passed into heaven with her children by her side on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Jacqueline married her sweetheart Garland M. Kennedy, Sr. at Morgan Avenue Baptist Church on December 25, 1950. While raising their three children, she became CEO and an owner of Kennedy Wire Rope and Sling Company in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Jacqueline will be remembered for her compassion and dedication to her family, friends, and her faithful devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents and sister Joan Worthington. She was also preceded in death by her husband Garland M. Kennedy Sr., their daughter Cheryl Thompson, and grandchildren Christina Alexander and Brandon Kennedy.

Jacqueline is survived by her beloved children Garland M. Kennedy Jr. (Alisa) and Dorothy K. Cloutet (Wayne). Grandchildren: Tara Kennedy, Grant Kennedy, Erin Mirabal (James), Jonathan Cloutet (Stephanie), Amanda Cloutet, Grace Metz (Corbin), Robert Alexander (Christina), and Carrie Kennedy (Brandon). Great grandchildren: Aiden Alexander, Preston Alexander, Madelynn Alexander, Noah Mirabal, Josephine Mirabal, Emily Mirabal, Claire Mirabal, Carter Mirabal, Connor Cloutet, Claire Cloutet, Emma Cloutet, and Brody Kennedy.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests consideration of a donation made to Yorktown Baptist Church in Jacqueline’s name.

The Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Seaside Memorial Park.
