James Robert Webb, Jr. (known as “Bob”) was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, graduated from Brownsville High School, attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville, and  lived in Corpus Christi for many years.  He worked at KRIS TV for 34 of those years.  Bob passed away on August 19, 2017 at the age of 62, following a struggle with cancer. He is survived by his father, James R Webb Sr., sister Victoria Webb Hunter and husband Robert, all of Las Cruces, NM, half-sister Mary Nelle Plowman of Little Rock, AR and 2 nephews, 1 niece and 8 grandnieces/nephews.

There will be a time of remembrance on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home.
