Josephine (Sáenz) O’Flynn, age 82, passed away June 22, 2017 following the effects of a sudden illness. She was born on August 17, 1934 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from W.B. Ray High School. Josey married Michael P. O’Flynn in Chicago, IL. She worked for and retired from Zenith Corp. Josephine was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. Elizabeth Society, Guadalupanas, and the choir of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church; New Neighbor League in Corpus Christi, Texas and Schoenstatt. She will be dearly missed. Josephine is preceded in death by both her parents, and brother-in-law Frank LaVecchia of Schereville, Indiana. Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband Michael P. O’Flynn, son, Emmett O’Flynn, sister, Frances LaVecchia, nephews Daniel and Frank, nieces Linda and Diane from Indiana. A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited that same evening. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017at ST. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment is to follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
