Judith Elaine Wier passed away on May 28, 2017 at the age of 81. She was born on September 1, 1935 in Harris County, Houston, Texas. She was adopted by her loving parents: Leon (Cliff) and Hazel Bradburn from Carrizo Springs, Texas. Judith graduated from Carrizo Springs High School in 1953. She continued her education at Texas A&I and graduated from there in 1956 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Judith married the love of her life, Robert Dean Wier, on September 28, 1956. She served as a Librarian at West Oso High School for 29 years. After she retired she volunteered at Driscoll Children’s Hospital in the medical library. Judith enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, quilting, crafts and reading. She also enjoyed annual family camping trips at the Frio River, Jazzercise, and playing Bunco with her friends. She had a passion for keeping her high school and college classmates united. She spent endless hours of preparation, planning and organizing for these reunions which were so special to her. Judith’s GREATEST joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judith is preceded in death by her parents and great-granddaughter Ella. She is survived by her husband; Robert Dean Wier, son: Bobby Wier (Sabina), daughters: Carolyn Antonetz (David) and Lisa Earnst (Matthew), grandchildren: Kristen Marie Seamans (Mike), Allison Elaine King (Greg), Brianna Hope Wilson, James Ryan Earnst (Lauren), Rachel Elizabeth Barentine (Kevin) and Reagan Dean Earnst, great-grandchildren: Ava, Connor, Kendall, River, Benjamin, Kipton.
A Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
