Ben and I give our sincere condolences to Joe and the family of Marilyn who was such a wonderful person and friend. Marilyn and I met in the 9th grade in 1961 and remained friends for the rest of our lives...We laughed together, cried together, went on dates together, went to parties together, talked on the phone every night and went to New York City together. Her house was my second home and her parents were my second parents....We also prayed together and for each other!!! She will definitely be missed by me!!! We love all of her family and know that she is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior!!!

I met your Mom when she lived on Albert Street in New Iberia, I lived down the street from her, I was about 10years old at the time. She was such a caring and giving person I so admired her. She helped thru so rough times. Over the years every Christmas she would send me Christmas cards with pictures of the family. I still have them. We never lost touch. RIP my friend we all love you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Marilyn was a dear friend and neighbor. We were blessed that God moved us next door for several years and I can tell you, she blessed our lives with friendship and love. We love you Joe and family. My heart feels such loss but I know Marilyn is seeing the face of Jesus.

Dear Joe, Mekelle & Danny, Christina & Jeremy, Joey and the entire family,
We are all heartbroken by the loss of our beautiful Marilyn and hope that it is of some comfort for you to know that your New York family shares your sorrow. Marilyn was a blessing, a light in each one of our lives, a gift to the world and a treasure that each one of us held near and dear to our hearts. We will miss her humor, kindness and generous spirit which she shared with each of us in such a special personal way, no matter the time or distance between us. She was a pleasure to know, she enjoyed knowing every person in her life, and she so freely shared her love of God, family and humanity. She will be sorely missed, but her memory will live on in each of our hearts.
I pray for each one of you that a brighter day dawns for you soon, and all the love she gave you shines brilliantly in your life.
My heartfelt condolences, sincerest sympathy and above all Love always, your cousin Lucille
