Martin Ruiz, 45, passed away October 6, 2017. He was born on June 27, 1972 to Alfredo Ruiz and Guadalupe Ramos in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended Miller High School. He was self-employed and worked as an apprentice electrician. Martin was a loving father, son, and brother. He will always be remembered for his love of the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed music and spending time with his family.
Martin Ruiz is preceded in death by his father: Alfredo Ruiz, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, two uncles and one aunt. Left to cherish his memories are his mother: Guadalupe S. Ramos, step-father: Ramon Ramos, daughter: Sadie Ruiz (Gilbert Luna), sons: Andrew Ruiz and Carlos Ruiz, brother: Alfredo Ruiz, Jr., sister: Araceli Ruiz (Jose Montoya), step-brothers: Raymond Ramos, Richard Ramos, step-sister: Vicky Ramos Richards and Linda Ramos Rodriguez, grandchild: Gilbert Luna Jr., uncle: Luis, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
Having the distinguished honor to be pallbearers are: Alfredo Ruiz, Jr., Jose Montoya, Luis Ruiz, Robert Rodriguez, Justin Rodriguez and Gilbert Luna.
A Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. that same day. Following the Rosary a Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
