Our beloved matriarch, Mildred Louise Massad, 90, peacefully went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones on July 10, 2017.  “Granny” will always be remembered for her sunny disposition and her ability to make everyone feel like a part of her family, which she truly cherished.  Granny is preceded in death by her husband Phil Massad, and sons Donald Massad and Ronald Massad.  She is survived by her daughter, Phillis and daughter-in-law, Pamela.  In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren who meant the world to her, Julia, Phillip, Elizabeth, Michael, Matthew and Marianna, and Austin. She truly adored her great grandchildren, Yasmen, Amad, Diego, Sophia, Jamilia, Nico, Olivia, and great-great granddaughter Ameena.  A visitation will be held this Wednesday evening at Seaside Memorial Park from 5 to 8. A Funeral Service will be held at First Baptist Church, on Thursday at 1pm.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church Music Ministry.
