Oliver Perry passed on to be with his Lord on October 30, 2017. He was born June 24, 1929 in Norman, Oklahoma to Alvin and Maude Perry.
He was a resident of Ingleside, Texas for 47 years before moving to Fort Worth, Texas in 2011.
He is preceded in death by his wife, of 59 years, Bonnie Hollingsworth, a daughter Jane Spurlin, and brothers and sisters.
He loved all of his family, and his family and friends loved him. Topper! He loved people, dogs, trains, traveling, and music. He enjoyed life.
He retired from the San Patricio Water District after 30 years of service as the Water Treatment Plant Superintendent. He was a past president of Rotary International, and the Water Works Association. He served on the Housing Authority Board in Ingleside.
He is survived by his daughter, Denise Lloyd (Desmond), Grandchildren, Faith DeLaGarza (Aaron), Misty Veach (Jeremy), Amanda Lloyd (Blair), Anita Stenehjem (Garret), Great Grandchildren, Mackenzie, Perry,Katy Jane.
A Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Seaside Memorial Park.
