I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one in death. I never had the opportunity to meet or know Oliver but we are all effected by death in some way or another. I have found great comfort in the Bible and the hope it holds out for the future. One scripture that I have especially found comfort in is Revelation 21:3,4 which states in part "... Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and DEATH will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Death will be no more what a thought but we know when God says something it will happen! But what about the ones that have passed away in death already God has not forgotten them in Acts 24:15 " which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection..." we know from the accounts of when Jesus was on earth he resurrected many back to life so even they have a promising hope for the future. Poppa has always been like a grandfather to me and always made me feel welcomed in his family. I will dearly miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
