Olivia Eureste Garcia, 84, passed away on April 3, 2017 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on April 5, 1932 in Carrizo Springs, Texas to Lorenzo and Carmen Eureste.

Olivia grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. Olivia married Jesus C. Garcia. They were happily married for 59 years.” My girl” to my loving father. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Olivia is survived by her four sons, David E. Garcia (Alma), Jessie E. Garcia (Tara), Rickey E. Garcia and Alex E. Garcia (Amador); two daughters, Belinda E. Gonzalez (Freddy) and Brenda E. Garcia (Arleen); grandkids, John David Garcia (Vanessa), Candy Ochoa (Eddie), Jessica Contreras (Herman), Christina Gonzalez (Brandon), Mario Gonzalez, Olivia Garcia, and Anika Garcia; Great grandkids, Caleb, Brooklyn and Dominic Garcia, Lilly, Priscilla and Braylon Ochoa, Ashton Clemens, Emma Contreras. Sisters, Ophelia Hankins, and Linda Ayala; Brother, Ruben Eureste . She had many loving nieces and nephews.

Olivia was preceded in death by her husband Jesus C. Garcia, parents Lorenzo and Carmen Eureste and brother, Ray Eureste; sisters, Christina Pimentel, Betty Castillo, Otelia Rodriguez, Evanglina Eureste.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm, Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am, Friday, April 7, 2017 at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
