Oralia Loera Perez, age 92, passed away January 5, 2018. She was born on September 18, 1925 to Jose and Rita Ramos Loera in Kingsville, TX. She was raised in Kingsville, TX. She married her loving husband, Roberto P. Perez, of sixty six years on November 3, 1948.
Oralia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother and sister. She enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family and she was a devout Catholic.
Oralia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roberto P. Perez, brother, Jose R. Loera, sisters, Magdalena Loera, Dalia Loera Ramos and son-in-law Jessie J. Barnes, Jr. Left to cherish her memories are her loving daughters: Rosalinda P. Barnes, Rodina (Albert) Solis, Rita Emily Perez and Rose Ann (Paul) Manzano; a brother: Roque (Nilda) Loera; a sister: Rosa Elia L. Salazar; a sister-in-law: Elsa Loera; grandchildren: Jennifer Barnes (James Washington), Jessica (Mark) Valls, Adina (Stacey) Ahrlett, Adriana Solis, Alissa Solis, Alina Solis, Natalia Manzano Fleury and her only grandson Jonathan Robert (Ashley) Montez, great-grandchildren: Isaiah, Anthony, Jazmin, Calista, Kayla, Kadence, Jacob, Jada, Calvin, Caleb, Larry, Mariah, Noah, Levi, Sierra, Madison and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Seaside Reid Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to be pallbearers are Eric Ramos, James Washington, Mark Valls, Mario Javier Salazar, Rene Javier Loera and Tomas Perez. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathan Robert Montez, Isaiah Ahrlett, Albert Solis and Paul Manzano.
The family would like to thank the staff at Angel Bright Home Health Care especially Stephanie Noska and the staff of Caring Senior and especially Elva Quintanilla.
