Ruth M. Merrywell, 63, passed away April 19, 2017. She was born May 11, 1953, to Charles W. Ferrell and Maria Treviño Talmage in Corpus Christi, Texas. She graduated from W.B Ray High School. Ruth was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed playing bingo. She will be remembered for her laughter, loving nature, sense of adventure and her extraordinary love of family and friends, whom she loved deeply.Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Ferrell, Maria Trevino Talmage, and her husband, Robert Alan Merrywell.She is survived by her son, Robert Alan Merrywell, II (Annette), her three grandchildren: Destiny Rae Anne Merrywell, Danielle Nicole Merrywell, and Robert Alan Merrywell, III; her siblings: Rachel Aguilar, René Ferrell (Candy) Rose Campos, Dr. Ronald Ferrell (Roz), Mary Peña (Roland), Kathryn Talmage, all of Corpus Christi, Rick Morales (Jill) and Rudolf Ferrell of Pennsylvania and Roxene F. Oliver of Suffolk, VA., 18 nieces; 12 nephews; and many cousins.Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, April 24, 2017, at Seaside Funeral Home with rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at Seaside Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Preston Pruitt, René C. Ferrell, II, Ryan Saenz, Roland Peña, and Angel Cruz.
