Sharon K. Hamil, age 71, passed away February 09, 2018. She was born on October 24, 1946 to Elmer and Shirley Richardson in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Roy Miller High School. She married her husband, Clifton L. Hamil on May 1, 1970. Sharon K. Hamil was a loving mother, sister and aunt. She enjoyed participation in church activities. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter and devotion to family. She and her husband were foster parents for over 30 years. She was a very kind and generous person. She lived to serve the Lord.
Sharon K. Hamil is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Elmer and Mrs. Shirley Richardson, her brother, Wayne Richardson, and her late husband, Clif Hamil.
Sharon Hamil is survived by her sister, Carolyn Anthony, son, Michael L. Hamil, and grandson, Michael L. Hamil, Jr.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Seaside Memorial Park. A Gathering of Remembrance will follow at the Altar of Prayer Church, 3945 Ayers, at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Altar of Prayer Church.
