My condolences to the family and especially to Beth, my life-long friend, on the loss of her husband, Troy. She and I were together the night she met him in the spring of 1963. There was an instant connection between them and many youthful adventures were to ensue between their meeting and their marriage five years later. I have such fond memories of Troy and his unflagging loyalty and devotion to Beth through the drama and tribulations of teen-age courtship. They built a family together and their love endured for 49 more years, a remarkable tribute to them both. The world has lost a good, good man.
