Valerie Lira Tomlin, 44 years old, passed away on August 13, 2017. She was born on January 19,1973 to Lucille and Cecil Lira in Corpus Christi, TX. She graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in 1991.
Valerie was a loving and devoted wife to Michael E. Tomlin and together they raised their two children for 13 years until Michael’s death in 2007. After almost 10 years, Valerie found love again with Jeffrey Lewis and they were planning a fall wedding.
Valerie was a beautiful person inside and out who always had a smile on her face. She loved people and they loved her back. She always had a kind word and a twinkle in her eye. She was also gifted with the ability to listen and give comfort and solace to anyone who needed help through rough times. Valerie loved music especially Jazz, literature especially Poetry, partying with her family and friends, and Karaoke night. Her beautiful smile and warm heart will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
Valerie is survived by her children, Benjamin Patrick Tomlin and Anna Victoria Tomlin, her parents Lucille and Cecil Lira, her fiancé Jeffrey Lewis, 4 sisters; Arlene (Bruce) Easter, Loraine (James Michael) Bass, Dorothy (Michael) McGinnis, Caryn Lira and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
