Bill was the beloved husband of Virginia Swartz - Wife. Son of Col. Dale L. Swartz and Ella C. Swartz – Deceased. He was also brother of CWO Robert D. Swartz – U.S. Army – Deceased. Brother of Gloria J. Regan of Santa Barbara, CA.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force – 6 years and an active member of the American Legion.
He was a retired Sales Manager of Soabar Co. (Avery Products) who opened 2 branch sales offices for his company (1 in Houston and 1 in El Paso). He also started his own company in El Paso, TX where he was Vice President and Sales Manager for almost 2 years. This was a dream he had; to start his own tag & label company.
He loved people and enjoyed helping others whenever he could.
He was a Christian and proud to have been baptized in the Baptist Church when he was 20 years old.
The love of his life was his precious wife Virginia, who stood with him throughout his life. She was truly his treasure. In addition to his wife Virginia, he is survived by the following: Lisa Lynn Moutray - daughter of Dallas, TX, Steven Swartz – son of Dallas, TX, Kevin Swartz – son of Dallas, TX, Steve Moss – step son of Florence, TX and David Moss – step son of Buda, TX. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
He will be missed greatly by both family and friends.
