Adelfa Perez Alaniz, 97, was called by the Lord to her resting place in Heaven on February 10, 2018. Born and raised in Beeville, Texas, she was one of ten children born to the late Atanacio and Jacinta Perez. She moved to Corpus Christi, Texas with her beloved husband in 1943 and together had three sons. She moved to Laredo, Texas in 2011 to be close to family.
Adelfa is preceded in death by her parents, Atanacio and Jacinta Perez, her husband, Inosencio Alaniz, her brother, Baldomero, sisters, Ynosencia, Santos, Ester, Lucia, Alicia and Lillie.
She is survived by her sons, Inosencio Fred, Jr. (Sylvia) of Laredo; Rudy (Leticia) of San Antonio and Ray (Margot) of Houston. Further surviving are her grandchildren, Annette (Randall) Abdallah; Thomas (Weny) Alaniz; Jennifer(Anton) Svensson; David Ray (Shelley) Alaniz; Steven (Melissa) Alaniz; Kristen (Joseph) Tripili; Amanda (Gus) Rodriguez and John Ray Alaniz, twelve great-grandchildren, brother, Pablo Perez and sister, Delia.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, 4357 Ocean Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78412 at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., and a Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. that same morning. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be, Thomas Alaniz, David Ray Alaniz, Steven Alaniz, John Ray Alaniz, Randall Abdallah and William Abdallah.
