Aleene Eanes

Aleene Lewis Eanes, was born to Walter E. and Tilda Lewis in San Angelo, TX on July 31, 1927.  On Wednesday, July 18, 2018, Aleene died and went to be in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

Aleene graduated from Harlandale High School and attended Draughon’s Business College in San Antonio.

She married Marvin M. Eanes, in March of 1950. They were blessed with three children. They resided in Corpus Christi until 2008, at which time they moved to San Antonio.  She was widowed in October of 2009.

Aleene was a member of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, The Social Order of the Beauceant, Windsor Park Baptist Church in Corpus Christi and Eisenhauer Road Baptist Church in San Antonio.

She is survived by her children: Edward Eanes (wife, Evelyn), Ronald Eanes, and Marilyn Eanes, grandchildren: Dasika, Sascha and Tulsi, great-grandchildren:  Lillianna, Seraphina, Joy, Reagan, Nellie, and Abbie, and sister, Idell Moffett of Plano, Texas.

The family offers many thanks to the individuals of Eisenhauer Road Baptist Church, the staff, and Pastor David Taylor that helped Aleene during her final years.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
