Alicia Garcia Rincones, born March 13, 1925 in Hebbronville, Texas, to the late Virginia Ovalle and Antonio Garcia, passed away at age 93, April 1, 2018 in San Antonio. Fondly known as Licha or Nana, she was preceded in death by her husband Miguel (Mike) Rincones, her mother, father and brother Antonio Guerra.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice Campos, Dora Trevino (Ramiro), and Joanna De La Garza (John); grandchildren, Daniel Trevino, Denise Stanfa (Joseph), Debra Trevino, Michael Meza, Stephen Meza (Desi) and Victoria Young (Andrew); great- grandchildren, Zaley Stanfa, Joey Stanfa, Ethan Lebron and Nico Meza; sister, Anita Tunchez (Patricio) and sister-in- law, Sarita Guerra (Antonio).
Always independent, Alicia left Hebbronville for Corpus Christi at 15 years old to help support her family, where she met Mike. She gave generously to friends, family and others in need. Known as a woman who never met a stranger, she was a greeter at the store she and Mike owned, Super Mex, on Morgan Avenue, Corpus Christi. Alicia loved her family and was a caring Nana to her grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. that same day. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
