Allie Joe Johnson

Allie Joe Johnson, age 94 passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 peacefully at home. He was born in Dale/Lockhart Texas on April 11, 1927 to Leonard and Novella Johnson. 

He was employed by CCYC for over 40 + years as their professional mixologist and close friend. He retired in his late 80’s to care for his ailing spouse.

He was an excellent sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and buying cars. 

Survivors include: his wife of 70 years, Rose Marie Johnson; one daughter, Shirley Ann Wilson; one grandson, Harold Kursey Wilson, III “Trey”; 3 great grandchildren, Bria, Marcell and Destini Wilson; one sister, Ella Jane Henderson; and his sister-in law, Willie Ella Johnson.
Other survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

Allie will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbors and all who knew him. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at the same chapel, with Entombment to follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
