Aurora Delos Santos

Aurora De Los Santos, age 88, passed away on June 9, 2022. She was born on May 13, 1934 to Aniseto and Teresa M. Flores in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was raised in Corpus Christi and graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1951.
She married her husband of 60 years in 1953. Aurora was employed by FW Woolworth. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and daughter.
Aurora enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, Spurs basketball, baking, and cooking. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her husband and grandkids, her unique sense of humor, and assertiveness.
Aurora De Los Santos is preceded in death by her parents Aniseto and Teresa Flores, her husband Arturo De Los Santos, and son Henry De Los Santos. She is the last survivor of eleven siblings.
Aurora De Los Santos is survived by two daughters, Linda Carrillo and Delia Contreras (Jerry). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Angela M. Contreras, Jerry Contreras Jr., Laura Rubio (Frank), Leanne Tedesco (Colby), Lindsey Carrillo, and Steven De Los Santos. She also has one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
