Baldemar “Baldy” Ramirez, Jr., age 49, passed away May 9th, 2022. He was born on July 25th, 1972 to parents Baldemar Sr. and Paula Ramirez in Corpus Christi, TX. He was raised in Chapman Ranch, TX and graduated from Richard King high school in 1990. Baldy married his wife Christina of 16 years on August 27th, 2005. Baldy was a loving husband, father, son, brother, cousin and friend.
Baldy will be remembered for his immense love for his family and friends, and for his generous heart, his intellect, and his ability to connect to people from all walks of life. He was also known for his joking nature, his sarcastic and sometimes inappropriate sense of humor, his passion for heavy metal music, his love for his sports teams (Raiders and Spurs) and of course his barbeque. Baldy was an amazing, loving, giving, passionate person full of life and always willing to give of himself. He will be severely missed.
Baldy is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents and his beloved father Baldemar Ramirez, Sr., and left to cherish his memories are his loving wife Christina, sons Sebastian and Benjamin, mother Paula Ramirez, brothers Jesse Ramirez and Daniel Ramirez (Fabiola) as well as several nephews and nieces, in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many, many friends.
Visitation will be held from 5pm-9pm on Monday May 16, 2022 at Seaside Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7pm that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1pm on Tuesday May 17th, 2022 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church. The interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are his sons, Sebastian and Benjamin Ramirez, his brothers, Jesse and Daniel Ramirez, and friends who became brothers, Rene Mendez, Christopher Soto, Orlando Balboa, and Tommy Muniz.
