Barbara Jackson Mikulik

Barbara Jackson Mikulik passed on January 5, 2021 to eternal rest with our Lord. Barbara was born in George West, Texas, on October 20, 1936 to Marvin and Margaret (Frasier) Jackson. Her family moved to Freer, Texas, in 1942. She graduated from Freer High School, then worked for Texaco Inc. as a secretary, and retired after many years. She was known for her faith in God, praying and unconditional love of family. She married Wallace A. Mikulik on June 24, 1961 and was a wonderfully devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Betty Weber Jackson and Earline Troell; brother, Robert M. Jackson.

She is survived by her husband, Wallace A. Mikulik; her sons, Dr. Randall W. Mikulik, Ronald A. Mikulik (Laura); grandson, Adam Blake Mikulik; her sisters, Sue Katherine Newman; and brother, Bill Jackson (Betty); along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Corpus Christi, Texas, on Monday January 11, 2021. Starting with a Visitation at 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 12:30 pm, and Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm, with Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
