Candelaria Acuna

It is with sadness that the family of Candelaria "Candy" V. Acuna announce her passing on May 6, 2018. Candy was born in Concepcion, Texas, December 15, 1922 to Antonio and Candelaria Villa. In 1949 she married the love of her life, Miguel "Mike" Acuna. Together Mike and Candy had seven children, Margaret, Linda, Michael, Mary Jane, Rebecca, Barbara, and Cathy. In addition to her seven children, Candy is survived by 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Mike, great-grandson Tyler Wentz, and her sisters, Andrea Barrios and Maria Luisa Flores. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home. Rosery to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening in Seaside Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Seaside Funeral Home.
