We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Seaside Funeral Home
Carmen Leal, age 73, was blessed with her wings on Friday, December 24, 2021, in the comfort of her home; surrounded by her loving husband and children. She was born on October 28, 1948, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Dennis and Lucy Cano. She is preceded in death by her father, and brother, Joe Nick Cano.
Carmen never met a stranger; she was a friend to everyone she met. She enjoyed life with many friends and family. She also enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, singing, and BBQ.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her husband of 45 years, Robert “Bobby” Leal; her children - daughters, Katie Cano (Richard “Spike”) Ortega, Karol (John) Veloz and her only son, Carlos Cano-Leal.
She is also survived by her pride and joys, her grandchildren, Justin (Vivian) Pinon, Sophia Cano, Jon-Michael Ortega, Siarra Veloz, Kason Veloz; great-grandchildren, Alicia Fernandez, Joshua Fernandez, Jaida Lucie Pinon and her fur-babies, Coco and Mollie.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude to Letty Lopez, Gracie Cuellar, Olivia Ayala, Roseann Veloz, Del Cielo Hospice and Davita for their continuous support and dedicated care of our mom during her courageous battle.
