Obituary

Carolyn Jean Morris, 71, beloved mother of four and friend to everyone she met, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas, surrounded by her entire family, including her mother, siblings, children, and nearly every one of her grandchildren.
Carolyn was born on November 28, 1946 in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Jacksonville High School, Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1964. Her favorite hobbies were drawing, painting, gardening, and her animals. She devoted her entire life to taking care of her family, her friends, and others and her greatest joy was making others happy. She did so much for so many and will always be remembered for her love of laughter, her love of children and animals, as the most loving and selfless individual we have ever met, and a true angel on this earth.
Carolyn was the beloved daughter of William Rylie Morris, Jr. and Billie D. Morris, whom she lovingly cared for until her passing; sibling of Joan Marie Brennan, William David Morris, and Susan Diane Hernandez; the incredibly devoted and loving mother of Thomas Scott O’neal, John Daniel Allison, and Robert Bryan Allison; grandmother of Justin, Kailey, and Kacy O’Neal, Rylie Allison, Julia Allison, Ashlyn, Nina, and Jacob Lightkep, Jimmy Allison, and Kaylin Vrabel, and the great grandmother to Marshall McCormac. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Effie and Darcy Vandever, William Rylie Morris, Sr. and Nettie Pearl Whey; her father, William Rylie Morris, Jr., and her youngest son, James Kevin Allison.
Please join us in celebrating her life and honoring her with a graveside service at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, 21 April, 2018 in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bayside, Texas.
