Charles A. Warren, Jr., age 81, passed away January 8, 2019. He was born on October 22, 1937 to Charles A. Warren, Sr. and Mellie Adelle Wright Warren in Corpus Christi, Texas. He graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1956. He enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1957 to 1959.
Charles married his wife, Bonnie, of fifty-nine years on March 14, 1959. He was employed by Corpus Christi Army Depot. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.
Charles enjoyed golf, softball, camping, playing any card game. He dearly loved the Al Amin Shrine Temple and was a proud Shriner. He will always be remembered for his willingness to help anyone with anything day or night no matter how big or small the need.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Pete Warren. Charles is survived by his wife, Bonnie, sons, Robert (Kelly) Warren and Donald (Annabel) Warren, four grandchildren, Tyler (Kayla) Warren, Sara (Jeff) Warren Gavlik, Clayton (Summer) Warren and Jordan (Kyle) Broughton, and three soon to be four great-grandsons. Also survived by one sister, Ruth Ann Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
