Clare Curtis

Clare Curtis, age 90, passed away September 19, 2019. She was born on February 28, 1929 to Joseph Paul Green and Josie Mae Green in Rising Star, Texas. She was raised in McCamey, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, TX with a Bachelors of Arts in Music.
Clare worked as a Real Estate Broker and had her own business, Clare Curtis Realty. She will always be remembered for her sense of adventure. Clare was an accomplished concert pianist and loved spending many hours with her friends playing bridge.
Clare is preceded in death by her father Paul Green, mother Josie Green and sister Paula Green. Left to cherish her memories are her son Bob Curtis and wife Janet; daughter Melanie Stephens and husband Danny; son Chris Curtis and wife Evelyn and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 27, 2019 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are: Bob Curtis, Chris Curtis, Danny Stephens, Chris Curtis Jr and Hunter Lopez.
