Corinne Vauter Biel

Corinne Vauter Biel of Corpus Christi died on March 10, 2018.  She was born on May 25, 1932 to Irene Belle Vauter and Robert Lee Vauter of Corpus Christi, Texas.  After graduating from Corpus Christi High School, she attended Texas A & I University where she met her beloved Robert Emil Biel and the two were married in 1952. Corinne was devoted to God and a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd.  She was dedicated to serving and was a member of the Altar Guild at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Corpus Christi Junior League, Las Donas De La Corte, Corpus Christi Cotillion III, and Key Study Club.  She and Bob loved ranch life and made countless memories down on the Biel Ranch with their family and close friends.  Corinne was a bright light that lit up every room she entered and made everyone she met feel loved and cared for. 

Corinne is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert Emil Biel of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is survived by her children, Melinda Biel Draper and husband Paul, of Dallas; Barbara Biel, of Houston; Robert Emil Biel, Jr. and wife Barbie, of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Paul Edward Draper, Sean Robert Draper, David Bishop Biel and wife Kathleen, Darren Vauter Biel and wife Teresa; and her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Hamilton Biel. 

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 1:00 p.m.  A Graveside Service will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. Honorary Pallbearers include grandsons, Edward, Sean, David and Darren. Donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Corpus Christi, Texas.
