Delores left her earthly life on April 18, 2022 to join her loved ones in Heaven.
She was born on July 18, 1930 in Canton, Georgia to James Franklin Thompson and Nellie Cockrill Thompson, who preceded her in death.
She spent her early years in New Braunfels, TX, moving to Houston in her teens and then to Corpus Christi and was a graduate of the 1948 class of Corpus Christi High School. After graduation Delores began a career in Hospital Medical Records, which she enjoyed for the next 50 years.
On July 30, 1949 she married Robert Curtis Seeds, Sr. They lived happily together for 54 years until he passed away on May 10, 2003.
Delores will be remembered for her love of family, traveling, and always looking forward to family gatherings. She was a life member of the Volunteer group at Spohn Hospital South and also a Lifetime Member of the Texas Association of Parents and Teachers.
Delores is survived by her children, Melinda Elderkin (Frank), Robert “Buddy” Seeds, Jr. (Brenda), Sandra Stokes (Dee), and Paul Seeds; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Because of God’s grace her cares and burdens have been cast off and she now lives forever in the presence of Her Heavenly Father.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. that same afternoon. Entombment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
