Diamantina Urbina, 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, surrounded by her family. Diamantina is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sixto, two daughters, Ruth and Damaris Urbina.
She is also survived by her sisters, Ana Maria Casillas, Lupe Hernandes, Rogelio Hernandez and Francisco Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leandro Hernandez and Esperanza Rodriguez, her sister, Rosa Elva Maldonado and her brother, Leobardo Hernandez.
Diamantina was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness who served her God Jehovah since she was young. She was baptized in 1965 and served as a regular pioneer since then for a total of 27 years. She served by her husband in helping start several congregations throughout the 48 years they were married. Presently, they were part of the Southport Congregation of Jehovah’s witnesses.
She was a very kind and loving mother and faithful Jehovah’s Witness. Her greatest quality was her humbleness. Throughout her life she taught her family and many others how to serve Jehovah God and do his will, this is the most important thing we should do. She helped many friends become baptized followers of Jesus Christ, starting in Acuna Coahuila Mexico, and in Corpus Christi and surrounding cities of the Coastal Bend. She loved Jehovah God and she loved the brothers and sisters.
