Diana Linda Bales

Diana Linda Bales, passed away June 2, 2018. She was born on September 24th to Linda and Pete Cavazos in Brownsville, Texas. She was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated from Roy Miller High School. She married her husband of ten years, Russell C. Bales, on September 26, 1987.

Diana was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed helping others, strangers and friends alike. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor, laughter and kindness. Bold in her faith and sharing God’s goodness in others. She was always positive and a great business woman. When she walked into a room she gained attention.

Diana is preceded in death by her husband, Russell C. Bales and her parents, Pete G. and Linda B. Cavazos. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters: April Rosas Kisiah (Jason Kisiah) and Jennifer Weitzel (Tim Weitzel) and her granddaughters: Kaley Kisiah and Samantha Weitzel and extended cousins and church family.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to be pallbearers are: Jason Kisiah, Tim Weitzel, Jonathan Villarreal, Jeremy Villarreal, Braeden McMinn and Antonio “Tony” Contreras.
