Dionne Paige Gauna

Dionne Paige Gauna, age 22, passed away on October 19, 2021. She was born on June 10, 1999 to Sally Ann Ymbert, Ismael Ymbert and David Gauna, Jr in Corpus Christi, Texas where she was raised and graduated from West Oso High School in 2017.

She was employed by MAC Cosmetics, Torrid, LLC, Morphie Cosmetics and she was the owner and developer of her own eyelash brand called The Dionne Paige.

Dionne Paige was a loving sister, aunt, cousin, daughter and granddaughter.

Dionne enjoyed traveling, being with family and loved being a makeup artist. She will always be remembered for her love of laughter, sense of adventure, devotion to her spiritual faith and passion for her family and friends. Specifically she was a loyal and doting aunt to David Gauna IV and Davine Ivy Gauna.

Dionne was full of life and lived to create beauty through her work as a make-up artist and a motivational social media influencer. Her talent, open heart and fearless sense of ambition encouraged others to be bold and live life to the fullest. She was a beautiful young woman with a beautiful soul.

Dionne Paige is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Maria Lerma; great-grandfather, Basilio Lerma; grandfather, David Gauna, Sr.; grandfather, Rev. Carlos Ymbert Sr.; great uncle, Antonio Figueroa and great grandfather, Juan Duran Sr.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents, Sally and Ismael Ymbert; her father, David Gauna, Jr; sisters, Daisy Breeann Gauna (Louie Galvan), Ariah Fey Ymbert, Melanie Gauna, Katalyna Ymbert; brother, David Gauna III (Marissa Lopez); nephew, David Gauna IV; niece, Davine Ivy Gauna; grandparents, Edna Gauna, Rev. Ruth Ymbert and Mr & Mrs. Mario Mesa and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church with an Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.

Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Alex Lerma, Johnathan Espinoza, Daniel Arguigo, Isacc Perez, Greg Espinoza, Andy Perez, Joe Castillo and Ryan Perez. Honorary Pallbearers are David Gauna III and David Gauna IV.
