Edward E. Ramsey

Edward Eugene (Gene) Ramsey, age 88, passed away on October 24th, 2018, at a senior home in San Antonio, TX.  He was born into a share cropper family in Arkansas on October 16, 1930.  His parents were Clyde Allen and Dicie Serena Ramsey in Caraway, Arkansas.  He graduated from Forrest City High School in 1948.  Gene married Joan Elizabeth Snyder on February 2, 1952.  They had two sons, James W. and Robert Clyde Ramsey.  Both sons live in South Texas.  
Gene will be laid to rest at Seaside Memorial next to his wife who passed away on May 29th, 1979 at which time they had been married 27 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years.
A funeral Service will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
