Elda Guevara Rodriguez

Elda Guevara Rodriguez, age 91, went to be with her Lord on June 18, 2018. She was born on May 12, 1927 in Alice, Texas.
Elda married her husband, Gustavo Rodriguez, on August 18, 1946. Elda Rodriguez was employed by Woolworth.
Elda was a loving mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. Elda enjoyed participating in all family activities, especially play games like the game of spoons with her sisters. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor, wittiness, sense of adventure, devotion to family.
Elda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gustavo Rodriguez, parents, Serafin and Angelita Guevara, three brothers and four sisters. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters: Gloria Ibañez and O. Melva Rodriguez (Pam Bryerton), son: Gustavo Reuben Rodriguez (Martha Rodriguez), grandson: Robert Ibañez and great- grandson: Blake Ibañez McMahan.
A Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 p.m. that same evening.
