Eleanor A. Franklin (Nano), age 94 passed away peacefully with family on May 31, 2017. Eleanor was born on January 31, 1923 to John and Annie Stastney. Eleanor was employed by Handy Andy Montgomery Wards downtown. She will always be remembered for her love of her family and the love of her dog Heidi Ho. Eleanor was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Eleanor is preceded in death by her husband: A.A. Franklin and granddaughter: Kathy Gilley A. Groves. Eleanor is survived by her daughter: Alice Gilley (Robert), son: Ken Franklin (Ellen) and grandson: Roy Franklin, granddaughter/ caretaker: Debra Gilley, great-grandsons: Christopher Boutte, Michael Antonetz and Nathan Antonetz, sister: Margaret Mekush and numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Seaside Funeral Home.
