Encarnacion “Tony” Cabrera age 86, passed away July 7, 2017. He was born and raised in Falfurrias, Texas on January 1, 1931 to Pedro and Enriqueta Cabrera. He enjoyed being a Constable for the city of Falfurrias. In 1975, he moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. Encarnacion “Tony” was employed by the City of Corpus Christi, where he later retired. He was a loving father, brother and grandfather. Tony will always be remembered for his sense of humor and facial expressions, which always showed how he felt. He enjoyed eating at his favorite restaurants, for they will miss him too.
Encarnacion “Tony” is preceded in death by his mother and father: his wife: Mary Lou, daughters: Isabel, Maria Guadalupe, sons: Roland and Paul, siblings: Daniel, Octaviano, Pedro, Ramond, Maria Gloria and Santos.
Encarnacion “Tony” is survived by his daughters: Joyce, Lydia and Emma, sons: Martin, Arnold, FR. E. Julian, Roy and Enrique “Chuco”, daughters-in-law: Josie, Mary Alice, Belinda and Pat, sons-in-law: Mario, Rigoberto and Tony, sibling: Mario Cabrera, 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A special “Thank You” to his care providers: Carmen, Betty and Zeferino.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3423 Rojo St., Corpus Christi, Texas 78415. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas 78412.
