Erika Marie Juarez

Erika Marie Juarez, age 39, passed away May 29, 2023.  She was born on February 3,1984 to Mario Juarez and Sonia Treviño in Corpus Christi, Texas. 

She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 2002, where she also was part of the swim team. Erika worked at Wells Fargo, as an Investigation Associate.

Erika enjoyed being a prankster, gaming, and taking risks in all areas of life. Erika was a major FANATIC of Deadpool.  She will always be remembered for being the rock to many family and friends, the rebel without a cause, her love of laughing, being silly, getting to the point, full of spunk, open to meeting new people, being the life of a party, and taking on new adventures.  

Erika is preceded in death by her step-father, Ronald J. Vasquez, paternal grandparents, Jesse Juarez and Francisca Juarez, beloved aunt, Cristina Juarez, and baby brother, Jesse Juarez. 

Left to cherish and honor her memory are her son, Malachi Jeremiah Coleman, her parents, Mario Juarez and Sonia Trevino Dyer.  Her Tía Madre, Christine Michelle Treviño.  Her maternal grandmother, MaryAnn Obregon, and her siblings: Ashley Nicole Juarez, Matthew Ernesto Vasquez, Jennifer Vasquez, Miranda Francisca Juarez, Mario Juarez Jr., Crystal Leaann Juarez, and Damien Hernandez. Several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, and loyal loving friends. 

Her son is grateful for all who have supported him through this difficult time and for sharing stories of his mother who he knows will always be his guiding light in life.  Erika was an amazing energy to all she knew, as we all know, she will continue that journey with us in spirit.  We LOVE you Erika Marie, you truly will be missed and remembered. You will remain in our hearts forever.  Be in peace knowing that you have your wings and we await to meet up with you again someday.  

Family Visitation will be at 1:00pm with Public Visitation from 2:00-3:00pm on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Seaside Reid Chapel, with the Funeral Service immediately following at 3:00pm.
