Felix Ochoa III, 86, of Corpus Christi passed away surrounded by family on September 9, 2023.
Felix was born on August 3, 1937, to Felix and Paula Ochoa in Petronila, Texas.
Felix faithfully served with the Corpus Christi Police Department for 30 years before his retirement in 1988. Many of his best and most talked about memories came from his time as a motorcycle officer.
Professionally, Felix was a leader in the alarm business industry and founded Alarm Security & Contracting in 1974 with his wife. He always had a love of electronics and helping others. His generosity extended not only to his family, but to others in need.
Most importantly, Felix loved spending time with his large family and friends. He recorded countless athletic events and was an amazing team dad. He loved to make people laugh by doing pranks, telling jokes, or performing card and magic tricks. He also loved to enjoy good food and phone conversations with those he loved.
Felix is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Paula Ochoa; sisters Belinda, Lydia, Elodia; brothers Ruben and Robert; grandson Daniel.
Felix is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth Ochoa; daughters Elizabeth (Tim) Cahill, Imelda (Victor) Elizondo, Sandra (Julian Palos) Garza, Kimberly (Randall) Reed; and son Felix (Jodi) Ochoa IV; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Felix Ochoa III will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his legacy of love and generosity will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
