Obituary
Geneva Joyce Lintner, 91 years old, died Oct. 27, 2021. She was born on Sept. 15, 1930 to Hubert and Bonnie Daniels in Chapman Ranch, Texas.
Geneva worked for many years in the banking and mercantile industries. She worked in later years with her dear husband, John, in their home based business. Geneva was an avid bowler in her younger years, participating in city bowling leagues. Dozens of articles in the Corpus Christi Caller-Times include Geneva's bowling accomplishments, including a game in 1952 when she rolled 233. She loved to bake homemade bread and cookies for her many friends. She loved to grow vegetables in her large garden and she was a talented seamstress. In her retirement years, she continued to be active, spending time with her friends and helping with events at her St. Thomas Catholic parish. She also enjoyed living at the Villa Northwest Assisted Living Home. Geneva was kind and caring. She was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Her gentleness and caring demeanor will be missed. She had many friends and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, where she was also a member of Catholic Daughters. Geneva was a longtime resident of Villa Northwest Assisted Living Home, where she was attended by a loving and caring staff.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 45 years, John, and a daughter, Patricia Lynn.
Geneva is survived by many friends who cared for her over the years.
Having the distinguished honor to serve as pallbearers are Eric Downing, Mark Esparza, John Freeman, Mike Wahlen, Gary Clarke and David Tajchman.
Visitation will be at Seaside Funeral Home and Memorial Park on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 from 6-7 p.m. A Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be said at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Robstown on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Seaside Cemetery at 1 p.m.
