Grace Jacquelyn Harden Richards

Grace Jacquelyn Harden Richards was born to Marvin and Vivian Harden in Rosebud, Texas on November 17, 1934.

She was the third of five girls. She graduated from Banquete High School where she was a twirler and a majorette with her twin sister Frances. She attended Texas A&I for three and a half years before leaving to marry Fred Tilman Richards and begin a family.

They had three children while living in the mountains who were fortunate to have a stay at home mother. Following retirement, they moved to Corpus Christi where Grace was happy to live in the same city as her three sisters. One block away from her twin sister, Frances.

Grace is preceded in death by Fred and her sisters Charlotte, Frances and Marlena.

She is survived by her sister Billye (Melwyn) and her children; Fred Tilman Richards Jr. (Lynn), Donald Harden Richards (Adriana) and Jacquelyn Lee Richards. She has five grandchildren, Donald Scott Richards, Tristan Cyrus Richards, Tilman Spencer Richards, William Davis Richards and Cherie Nicole Ullrich. Grace has six great grandchildren.

A visitation will be on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:00p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, February 8th, 2023 at 10:30a.m. at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at 11:30a.m. at Seaside Memorial Park. Immediately following the graveside service there will be a reception for fellowship with the family back at Seaside Funeral Home.
